The present team working at HHS includes the following members:
Indhu Subramaniam, Executive Director
Indhu has a masters degree in mass communication, worked on child rights issues before moving on to gender and rights issues, which she has been involved with for the last 12 years. An area of abiding interest has been research and documentation on women and rights issues.
Usha B N, Program Coordinator
Usha after her masters in English and M Phil in translation studies has worked with under privileged urban and rural youth on issues of marginalization and social justice. She has also been involved in recording oral histories of women from various parts of Karnataka. At HHS, she focuses on production of materials in Kannada and advocacy work.
Chaithra K V, Program Assistant
Chaitra has worked in the grassroots with rural, dalit women for 15 years. Some of the key issues she has worked with include the rights of women in panchayats, health rights of women and the education of children. At HHS she is involved in capacity building and advocacy work.
Jyothi D, Administrator and Accountant
Jyothi supports HHS in the area of Operations, ensuring that daily activities and reporting are carried on smoothly.
