We have produced simple and easy to read materials on gender and rights in Kannada to aid our work with urban and rural women. These materials are also used to reach people that we are unable to reach through our training programs. The materials are useful for women in collectives, activists and anyone who would like to work on gender and rights issues.
 
 
The materials we have produced so far include:

  1. Calendar 2010 and 2011: A Calendar featuring various laws related to women’s rights

  2. Primers: Primers on Democracy, Equality and on Women and Law are available in Kannada.

  3. Flip Charts: Flip Charts on construct of Gender and its impact on women, on the legal provisions for women under the new domestic violence law are available in English and Kannada

  4. Brochures: We have brochures on sexual harassment, do and don’ts for sexual harassment complaints committee and on eve teasing available both in Kannada and English.

  5. Crisis intervention handbook: A Handbook to help women victims of domestic violence, dowry and rape access justice.

  6. Booklet on domestic violence law: A booklet in FAQ format on how to use the domestic violence law.

  7. Audio CDs: Plays and panel discussions on various laws and issues related to violence against women

  8. Training Manual : A Gender and Rights Training Manual in Kannada

  9. Badges, Stickers and T-shirts on women’s rights

  10. Music Cassette: Gamini, a collection of women’s poetry in Kannada is set to tune.
